The advent of the GEOSTAR for welding geomembranes marks the appearance of a hot wedge welding machine perfected for civil engineering that redefines state-of-the-art technology.

The compact, cast aluminum frame construction offers sporty maximum power for the hardest applications: With heating capacity/heating power of up to 2500 Watts, peak welding speeds of up to 12 m/min (39 ft/min), and height-adjustable chassis, the GEOSTAR can handle any terrain without difficulty.

The digital operating unit (“eDrive”) with integrated display permits permanent monitoring of all the key weld parameters (heat, speed, pressure, and voltage) during the work process.

This sleek new design makes field servicing a cinch - wedge can be removed and replaced in under a minute. Additional features include easy loading of material, the natural flow of material through the machine, integrated clamping grip engagement, innovative ergonomics that allow one-hand operation, and three different parking and maintenance positions.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:

The GEOSTAR G7 LQS automatic welder can be used to weld geomembranes in civil engineering and in landfill construction. LQS allows data recording and monitoring of welding parameters. The pressure, welding speed and temperature are monitored and controlled via the digital display. Additionally, the digital display enables the user to monitor the mains voltage during the welding process.The welding data can be transferred to the MyLeister app via WiFi. LQS enables quality documentation of the welding data quickly and easily, which can be transferred to the MyLeister app via WiFi. Thanks to its lightweight frame made of aluminum, the maintenance-friendly hot wedge weights roughly 18 kg (39.68 lbs.) and enables easy access to the mechanical parts of the machine (both for cleaning components and converting). The GEOSTAR G7 can easily weld various geomembranes made of HD-PE, PP, LD-PE, TPO, FPO, PVC, CSPE and EIA, with material thickness ranging from 1 to 3 mm (40 to 120 mil). less
